James A. Keating

James A. Keating received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toledo and his BA in Government from Ohio University. Jim’s legal career started as an Assistant Attorney General with the Office of the Attorney General of Ohio in the Ohio Court of Claims before moving on to a small private practice in Ohio, and then with the Hartford Insurance Company where he held a variety of increasingly challenging executive level positions. He is now a litigation consultant and has broadened his legal expertise to include Mediation, Condominium Law and Estate Planning. Jim is admitted to practice in Ohio as well as Florida, before the United States Supreme Court and the United States Federal Court, Northern District of Ohio. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Florida Bar Association and American Arbitration Association. Jim resides in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and enjoys traveling, especially visiting friends and family in Cleveland and Key West.
